August 18, 1841 ~ Wednesday
Aug 18th I spent the day at Fathers House it being
the last day that I spent there this makes 41 days
that I have spent at my Fathers house the longest
visit I have made with any of my friends for
the last 10 years. During my stay on this occasion I
have had the privilege of performing the marriage
cerimony of my ownly sister, Eunice Woodruff &
Elder Dwight Webster. Also Baptized & confirmed
two into the Church viz Aunt Bulah Hart & Jennet
Stedman
this was a consolation to me. I took the
parting hand with Father and all the houshold & went
on board of the Farmington Canal Boat Capt Denton,
Erastus Woodruff & Ozem Woodruff were the hands
on board, we spent the night on board, about one
mile from Fathers House
