We Lyman Wight, Willard Richards, & Wilford Woodruff, do
solemnly swear, in the presence of Almighty God, that we will
support the Constitution of the United States, & of the State of
Illinois, & that we will well and truly perform the Duties
of counsellors of the city of Nauvoo, according to law, and the
best of our Abilities.
