land and Scotland, presiding over the
churches, published 3,000 copies of the
Doctrine and Covenants, and secured
the copyright of the same in London.
In 1846 I returned from England to
the United States, and gathered with
the Saints at Winter Quarters on the
Missouri, where I spent the winter.
