July 09, 1849 ~ Monday

9th Still foggy all day No wind lay in Harbor Capt Spear
lay in Harbor & caught 20 lobsters I took cold settelled
on my lungs & made me sick side & breast sore & lame we
walked out & picked 2 quarts of strawburies & had A feast
of them
