Discourse 1856-08-19
Elder Woodruff I would have been glad to see more of the influential part of the ward with us—but, as all have had as good a chance to attend as those who are here—I do not know that we are to blame I am pleased with the Report of the Committee am aware that it is tolerable hard times, still we have tolerable good crops. I do not know that we will ever have a better time than the present to go a head, as a good deal of the tax can be paid in labor. I believe we can accom- plish it. I am only one, but believe a great many more would come to Sabbath afternoon meetings were we to put up the building
