Br Woodruff; My Dear Sir, I have only just time to inform you that I have not yet fully prepaired the history about which you wrote. It has been quite a labor & I have written some one hundred pages. I have been some little detained since the departure of Geo. A Smith in revi- sing, for I felt anxious to have it right & as it had to be copied there is not time to do it.
