November 16, 1858 ~ Tuesday

Nov 16 I spent the day in the office compiling History & Journalizing
The U.S. District Court met to day organized called
the Jury many were absent some were fined $25,
orders were issued to fill the Juries Gen Burr was
admitted to the Bare He then filed an affadavit to
reject Hosea Stout J. C. Little & James Furguson
from the Bar. At the request of Mr Wilson the U.S.
District Attorney for Utah the court adjourned
for one week. I spent the night at home
