January 13, 1859 ~ Thursday

13th I attended the Legislator we went into Joint session
and appointed all the Judges & Notairey publics in
all the counties in this Territory which was organized
Luke Johnson was appointed Probate Judge of Shambip Co
& sSamuel Benyon Notary Public [of Shambip Co]
we have had a steady snow storm all day
