President John Taylor
Dear Brother
This is the
first day, I have spent in the Temple I
find all things right as far as I
can disern. Union and the spirit of
the Lord prevailing a good work is still
going on in the Temple, good sized company
since I left home I have Learned of
the Decision of the supreme court of the
U.S. I was informed while at Parawan
that Boman had a 100 Names to present
to the Grand Jury at the March term
and I suppose my Name is among
them I still have the same feelings
that I had in Salt Lake not to
go into the hands of my Enemies
if I can avoid it for I had Rather
be a prisioner in the hands of my
friends than my Enemies I have
