Samuel Roskelley

Samuel Roskelley (1837-1914) was born 1 Jan. 1837 in Devonport, Devonshire, England. He was the son of Thomas Roskelley and Ann Kitt. He married Rebecca Hendricks on 22 July 1858 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 3 Dec. 1851 in London, Middlesex, England. He corresponded with Wilford Woodruff regularly from about 1877 to 1892 on the affairs of the Church in Smithfield, Cache Co., Utah Territory. He died 10 Feb. 1914 in Smithfield.
