March 03, 1881 ~ Thursday

March 3, 1881
We gave 82 Endowments to day. I searched my records to
day and found I had on my record Baptized for the dead
2749, Endowed 2037 couples sealed 67605. I sealed
10 couple for the dead to day and attended the prayer circle and was
Mouth at the Altar I wrote a letter to Emma Dated March 1,
A hand pointing to the right and sent an Account of my birth day I spent the Evening at
Brother Lorenzo Brown's or rather took supper with him and
Sisters Eliza R Snow & Zina Young I attended the Priesthood
An arrow meeting But Began to feel unwell At the close of the Meeting
An arrow I went to my room in the Temple and went to bed
and stoped sever[al] hours I awoke about midnight and felt
distressed I soon saw that I had an attaack of the Billious Cholic

St George President Wilford Woodruff Prsent: Dear Brother By permission of Sister Goldthait Goldthwait Night relict of Bro. Newel night, I have copied the following from the original which is in frame under glass, at Santaclara in Josephs own hand writing. I though perhaps you might think it worth preserving as church history. Your Brother Daniel Tyler "Kirtland Geauga County Ohio March 3rd 1831 Brother Hyrum we arrived here safe and are all well I have been engaged in regulating the Churches here as the deciples are numerous and the Devil has made many attempts to overthrow them. It has been a serious Job but the Lord is with us and we have overcome and have all things regular The work is breaking forth on the right and on the left and there is a good call for elders in this place we have received a letter from Oliver dated Independance Jackson County Missouri January the 29th 1831 these are the words which he has written saying
