March 24, 1882 ~ Friday

24 [FIGURE] The Edmunds Bill was signed to day
[FIGURES] I rBy President Arthur and it became a
law to take away rights of the Latter Day Saints
because of their Religion I received a letter to day
from O Jacobson containing $35 for the sale of a
Horse I wrote a Letter to O Jacobson I spent the
day in council with the Presidency. We considered it
wisdon for the brethren to live with but one wife under the same Roof
