President Woodruff Dear Brother As my home is in the North, President John Henry Smith requested me to report to you on my arrival home inrelation to My Mission to England. I was called asto the Octr Conference 1881, and left Ogden on the 25th same month on a Mission to England, and returned with the Octr Company, in charge of Elder John Pickett 1883. ^company arrived Nov. 15 at S. L. City.^ Upon my arrivial in Liverpool, I was appointed to labour in the Liverpool Conference by President Albert Carrington, and in Novr 1882 he released, and appointed me to tra- vel in the Bristol Conference, where I remained intill July 1883, when Prest John Henry Smith appointed me to travel in the Birmingham Conference
