John Daniel Thompson McAllister

John Daniel Thompson McAllister (1827-1910) was born 19 Feb. 1827 in Lewistown, Sussex Co., Delaware. He was the son of William James Frazier McAllister and Eliza Thompson. He married Ellen Handley on 5 Jul. 1847 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 12 Oct. 1844 in Philadelphia. He corresponded with Wilford Woodruff regularly from 1877 to 1893 on the affairs of the Church in St. George, Washington Co., Utah Territory. He died 21 Jan. 1910 in St. George.
