Letter to Clara Martisha Woodruff Beebe, 27 January 1887
Dear Clara
We Received your Letter
of Jan some time I think 19 or 20 as you
do not Date your Letters I cannot Exactly
tell, but we are glad to hear from you
at any time Well Ma is preparing to
go home in the morning. I left them on
Monday Morning I did not know that
I would see them again but they drove
Last Evening to where I was And I Returned
home with them & spent the night & tonight
will be the Last night that I shall spend
with Ma I dont know when again
but I hope sometime I was quite lonssome
the 2 days I was gone Alice has not
been vary well but I hope they will get
home all right And I will try to live
the Life of Bachelorshood once more I know
you will be glad to see Ma once more
and so would I before she is gone from me
as long as she has from you We are
as well as usual I Expect there will be
