Letter from Andrew Kimball, 20 November 1887

Dear Brother:
I take pleasure
in giving a short report of things
in the Indian Territory Mission.
Elders Wm T. Jack and Loran Woolley
Who left here on the 2nd inst. for that
place arived safely on the morning of
the 5th. They found Elders Smith and
Booth both down with the chills and
fever and somewhat poorly otherwise.
They both write full of zeal and
determination to continue their labors
and I feel to encourage them for as
cold weather comes on their health and
prospects will improve.
Elders Green and Shand who were released
returned two weeks ago as you know.
Bro. Shand is badly broken down he
was suffering from the effects and with
the chills to a great extent. Bro. Green
however was in a better condition but
chilling some. The labor goes on about
the same as when we reported last.
All the Elders are now reaching out
into new fields as fast as they can
and I feel that although there is but
a slim harvest that much good is
