19. we staid in camp we had a hard rain storm

Letter from Angus Munn Cannon, 19 July 1888
Salt Lake City President Wilford Woodruff Dear Brother: The enclosed papers are respectfully returned to you according to your request as per letter of June 8th 1888, together with the action of the Bishop's Court in the premises. At a meeting of the High Council held last evening, the following Decision was rendered in the case, viz: "That the action of the Bishops Court be sustained in with- drawing fellowship from John L. Berg for [redacted], and that he be cut off from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints, and that a transcript of our action be sent to you." On motion, the decision was unanimously sustained Very respectfully, Your Brother in the Gospel Angus M. Cannon President of Salt Lake Stake. per J. D. Stirling Clerk

19. Asahel took some ore out of his [claim] & we drove 6 Miles up the creek and He entered his city plot as Mineral lands we fished Down I caught 7, Asahel 9 [Lind] 8. I was vary weary & lame 10 Miles 19 we laid in camp Had a hard rain storm in the evening & cold Owen came up
