19 A hand pointing to the right I signed 37 Recommends. I received 37 Letters I wrote
7 Letters 4 Pub[lic] & to J. W. Young David & Sarah. There
is still a great cry against us bescaus Judge Sanford
does mot Punish the Elders more than He does on
the cohabitation cases

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, . President Wilford Woodruff Salt Lake City, Dear brother, The printing of the Swedish translation of the Book of Doc. and Cov. haves now proceeded so far that I suppose the whole (except the index) will be in type by the end of next week. I therefore thought it advisable now to ask you, if you wish me to insert the Revelations, given through President John Taylor. I have translated the one about the necessity of "setting the houses in order," but I would not not insert it, unless told to
Letter from John Daniel Thompson McAllister, 19 September 1888
St. George, Utah, President Wilford Woodruff, Salt Lake City, Dear Brother: Yours of the 15th inst. I received last night. In regard to the Certificate for 350 Shares of Deseret Telegraph Stock. I wish to say that I received a letter from Bro. W. B. Dougall of date the 11th inst. on the night of the 13th and a Telegram of the 13th, with the letter, requesting the Certificate ^be^ returned to him properly endorsed. The next day, 14th I called the Board of the church association together as I could not send it without their action. I was authorized by them to return the Certificate. A letter with the Certificate endorsed, was mailed that evening to Bro. Dougal. The next morning, Saturday, ^15th^ I answered another Telegram from Bro Dougall informing him as I have written above in regard to the matter.
