Salt Lake City.
Dear brother,
The day before I left Salt
Lake City, I received your
kind favor of Oct 10th, where-
by I was given to understand
that my name had been
suggested and accepted as
a missionary to Turkey,
and that I was expected
to leave the city on the
14th of November.
My feelings in regard
to this call are, as I have
had the honor to state be-
fore, that I shall be very
pleased to respond to this
