Salt Lake City Utah, President Wilford Woodruff City, Dear Brother: Letters recently received from the Elders in the Indian Ty. inform me of their being, all in pretty good condition again; one or two have a little of the itch left, but are getting ridd of it in ^a^ pretty fair successful manner Elder Smith who I reported in ill health, and wished released, is still delicate, as I have learned from two other parties unbeknowns to him. Two Elders out in the west find the few scattered saints feel- ing well, and are meeting with moderate success.

President Willford Woodruf Dear Brother I received your letter [stating] that my name had been accepted as a missionary to [great] Britain and if all was well to be ready to start from Salt Lake City on the 1st of [april] next year to go and do all the good I can in the work of the lord and if all is well I will be ready to start at the time appointed.
