Letter from George L. Farrell, 10 February 1889
Prest. Wilford Woodruff, Dear Brother: I received your very kind Letter of Sept. 3 last was received on the 20th of the same month, and would have been answered sooner, but it got mislaid in some way until just before Bro Lyman and Taylor left us, therefore I thought I would wait until now to answer, as the Brethren would be able to tell you better than I could write of our prosperity and Labors in Lee's Creek, we did enjoy their company and and wise Counsels very much indeed, of which no doubt they have made you conversant, and we heartily thank you for sending them out to visit us, and pray the Lord to continually bless you and preserve you from your enimies with all the Brethren associated with you. As you say in your letter doubtless the Lord has a purpose in view the establishment of our Colony, this becomes more and more evident as time roll's on and we can all see the hand of the Lord made manifest in our favor on many occasions
