I herewith enclose a recommend
for Brother Dattge and family to go
to the House of the Lord. He

The population of Eureka
is about 1000, and about two
thirds of the people are Irish
Catholics's. There is a Branch of
the Church here numbering about
ninety baptised members old
and young, about half of whom
are Germans, and many of them
