Letter from M. Schneider, 2 January 1890
P.S. The above is my address.
Letter to Daniel Duncan McArthur, 2 January 1890
Salt Lake City, U. T. . Prest. D. D. McArthur & Counselors, St. George. Dear Brethren: Enclosed we send you a letter written by Brother Richard Morris, in which he sets forth the circumstances surrounding the company which owns the Washington Dam and makes a request concerning advances that he proposes to make to the people, for which he desires to obtain credit on his tithing for this new year. As we are not familiar with the circumstances of this company, nor whether the advantages that he sets forth are likely to follow the adoption of his suggestion, we desire to submit his letter to you, as you are in a position to understand the whole case and to know whether it will be advantageous to the people there for us to grant his request. Please return his letter with your answer. With kind regards, Your Brethren, Wilford Woodruff Geo. Q. Cannon
