with the Bishopric concerning our Temporal Affairs 6 m[iles]

President Woodruff As I am in the im- ployment of the Contributor Co. canvasing and Junius F Wells desires me to lecture in connection with it and as that sas been the policy for years. I ask you if it meets your mind for me to do so. If it does would you give me a brief note to Presidents and bishops, for I find the article in the News has greatly prejudiced them a gainst me lectureing It seemes at present I have no alternitive as the court has striped me and ordered $2000 a month alimony, or I would willingly withdraw from the lecture field untill such times when my servicis was needed.
