Letter from Robert Davidson, 22 December 1890
Logan, Prest Wilford Woodruff Dear Brother The Logan 3rd Ward over which I am called to preside, have begun a much needed Meeting House to cost about $4,000, and have, under the blessing of God and with the help of the Members of the Ward, suc- ceeded in nearly completing the exter- ior and are now laying the floor. Several of the Carpenters and others have asked to be credited on this years Tithing for part of their labors. If you can grant us this privilege to the amount of about $40000 it will be greatly appreciatsed. Always praying the Lord to bless and lead you Your Brother in the Gospel Robert Davidson, Bishop.

Hyrum City Pres. Wilford Woodruff Dear brother In answer to yours of the 15th inst. in which you state that my name has been suggested and accepted as a missionary to Scandinavia, and to make arrangements to start from Salt Lake City on Oct 7th 1891 I can say that I accept the call and by the blessings of the Lord will try to be prepared to start on that date. Letter to Ira Nathaniel Hinckley, 22 December 1890
President I. N. Hinckley, and Counselors, Millard Stake of Zion. Dear Brethren: At the meeting of the General Church Board of Education held on the 19th inst. your favor regarding the location of the contemplated Millard Stake Acad- emy building was taken up and considered with great care; and the unanimous con- clusion of the Board was that the general rule adopted in such cases should not be departed from in this instance, and that it should be left to the bPriesthood and the people of the stake to decide this matter, either at the next stake quarterly conference or at any other time convenient to the local presidency and saints. If you could let us know when the matter will be taken up possibly some member of the General Board or of the Council of the Apostles could be present to aid you with his suggestions. Your Brother, Wilford Woodruff President. Geo. Reynolds. Sec.
