I recieved a letter on the 14th inst from you notifying me that my name had been suggested & accepted as a mMissionary to Great Britain & I tell you it was a surprise to me. I will now try & tell you the circumstances I am placed in I have a wWife & one Child & some horses & cattle and that is about all in property. I have sold my self out of a house & home & was in- tending to start to Idaho to make a home with the saints up there in about one month but if you think I am in good enough circumstances
