& John Nuttall we took carriges & rode 13 Miles to Saltair
Beach we took lunch with Mr White & returned it was
Exceding cold & had a cold rain I got vary Much
chilled we found a great Deal of work had been
Done in greading the Rail Road Diging the Ditch for
the salt water & building the floom Distance 1826 Mil
