Letter from Orson Smith, 30 September 1893

Dear Bro.
The enclosed note of Bro Deakins was
made-out for October 1st which comes
on the Sabbath. Will you please make it
from Oct 4th and payable to John or
Sarah Deakin the return it and he tells
me that the money will be ready.
The same datae accross on the note for
the 6th Ward Association. Please change
it to Oct. 4th and this will be forwarded
at same time. When we canvassed
for this money we were told by the
parties that their means would be
ready as stated in my first letter
but some had it not ready. others had
it where they had to give certain matters
before it could be drawn etc. until we
were of necessity compelled to disappoint
you for a few dadys at least. Trusting
that no serious result shall come through
