January 17, 1894 ~ Wednesday

17. I met this morning with Wm W Cluff upon the
Coal Mindes of Coleville we also Met with Brother Eccles
about the settlement of the Saltair Pavilion work
it was voted to Allow the Bill of cost over the
contract price to Brother Eccles if He would buy
out Mr White of his $20000 dollar of stock in
the Mi Saltair Beach Company Brother Armstrong
called upon us we went to the Temple Attended to the
sacrament & other work

President Wilford Woodruff Dear Sir i Samuel C Brown wish to confer with your Honor, in Regards to the Redemption of zion. i desire Now to go forth in the greate Worke for i Say unto you in the Name of Jesus Christ that zion Will flourish upon the Hills of Adam on diahman, and will yet be Established in the apointed Place and her Laws Shall go forth as Briteness i feel to Say Hosanna Blessed Be the Name of the Most High God, for this day for the Hour of his Judgment is Nigh. Dear Sir i would have liked to met you Personal But as i have not much to traval with i chose this way to communicate my thoughs with you Bro. Woodruff, if i am worthey to call you Brother Judge ye, for i have ben Baptized With the Same Baptism With Wich you have ben Baptized with, and my Prayer is Now O Lord if i have found favor in thy Sight may i allso find favor in your Sight that i may have the Privilege of going forth amung this People that I may speak to the Saints on such subjects as Pertains to the Establishment of the Lords worke and ^his^ Righteousness i have given my self to the Lord i was Baptized in the Stats by O H Rigs and J. W. Crosby gone myself to him then even as i do this day for he said for to him Now in Regards to this matter if it meets you in Righteousness over.
