Letter from George Teasdale, 2 March 1894

Dear President Woodruff: I thank you kindly for much esteemed invitation to attend the Social Gathering to celebrate the 87th anniversary of your birthday and the 56th of Sister Emma's. We should have been delighted to attend, had it been possible. We are sure you had a glorious time. At our Fast Meeting, of yesterday, we remembered you. We had a glorious time sixty of the brethren and sisters bore testimony and expressed their gratitude to our Heavenly Father for blessings received. It was the finest time we have ever had on a Fast Day in this Mexican Mission. At this meeting it was resolved to send kindly greetings and congratulations to President Wilford Woodruff, and a prayer was offered that you might be preserved in health of body and vigor of mind so long as you shall live upon this earth. You have many who have been adopted to you and who were with you in days gone bye in Arizona and who have the warmest affection for you. We have had a glorious Conference. The power of God has been signaly manifested, to the joy and rejoicing of all hearts. The visit of the Apostles has been greatly appreciated and
