September 22, 1894 ~ Saturday

Sept 22, 1894
Our company went to Brother Madsons at the mouth
of the Provo River & in company with Brother Madson
we drove South on the shore of Utah Lake There found
half a Dozen boats And all the company took boats
and rowed about 2 miles onto carp ground whare
we fished a while but being in the Middle of the day and
the water covered with Moss I caught one Bass 1 1/2 lb
& A Brother caught 7 being all that the company caught
we returned to the city with our faces badly burned
by the sun we were quite weary distance 12 Mils
