Rexburg, Idaho, President W. Woodruff Salt Lake City Dear Brother, Since we last wrote you county seat matters are working up quite a furor among us. St. Anthony and Market Lake are both in the field making all kinds of promises of great things they will do if the people will only vote for their schemes, Market Lake for instance is offering to give $25,000 to build a court house etc. Many of our people are expressing themselves in favor of these places and we fear will be deceived by such wiles and false rumours. We are working earnestly trying to show the people the true situation with the hope of being able to counteract these forces and would very much desire if you can send some of the brethren to our conference at Lousiville Sunday and Monday 28 & 29 and to stay with us a few days to counsel us in this matter.
