Letter from James Thomas, 8 December 1894
Salt Lake City Utah, . Wilford Woodruff Esq., President Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints, City. Honorable Sir: As per promise of use of Tabernacle for 13th of December for General Booth's meeting we wish to say that on that night, all being well, the General will be there, and will deliver his address on his subject which finds a responsive chord of sympathy in every man's heart, regardless of religious views. We shall deem it an honor if convenient for you to be present. Will you kindly inform me if Tabernacle authority furnishes door-keepers and ushers. If not, I shall make arrangements to that effect. Thanking you sincerely for favors to our people, Very respectfully yours "Seeking the Lost", Jas. Thomas Staff Capt 255 West Third, South. Meeting at 730 Will Galley be open to public?
