Dear Brethren:
For several days I have been looking
for a letter in answer to one I wrote to you Dec. 1st, but
from some cause or other I have not received it. In
my letter I gave my financial report, and asked for
another appropriation. I am anxious to hear from
you. I would have written sooner but I have been looking
for a letter from you every mail.
We have had considerable rainy weather the last
two weeks which has hindered us some in our work.
One of my wife's sisters died Saturday, which makes two sisters
she has lost since she came here.
I wrote to my Quorum for means and they sent me $5,00.
They have 10 Elders in the field &d nearly all calling for help, so
that they could send me but little. I can't get any more
cards printed until I get some money. I am behind now.
Times are very hard here and it is all the saints can dto to
pay the hall rent.
My baby isrnt well but we hope she soon will be.
