Wilford Woodruff Esq Dear brother yours of Jany 30th informing me that my Name had been suggested and accepted as a missionary to Great Britton, has been Received and Noted, and in Reply would say I am Ready to respond to the call and will be on hand at the time mentioned but if it could be aranged so I could go direct from here and meet the Rest of the brethern at some point in the East that you might Designate I would prefer it, as it would be quite a saving in the matter of Expencses however I shall hold myself subject to your wishes

Letter from Joseph Campbell, 10 February 1895

Cache Co. . Elder Geo Reynolds, Salt Lake City. I received your letter of the 6 inst. asking me toif I could take a mission to the Southern States. It is Just a little over one year since I returned home from a two years mission to Europe. As I am not fairly straightened around yet I think there must be some mistake about it. Yours Brother, Jos. Wilford Woodruff, Dear Bro, Yours of the 8 inst at hand; asking my feelings as regards haveing been selected to a mission to the Sandwich Island's. In reply to the same, I answer yes, I will make it convenient to go at the appointed time, Your Brother in the Gospel Lewis R. Jenkins G. W. Letter from Willard Scowcroft, 10 February 1895

Ogden, Utah, President Wilford Woodruff Salt Lake City Dear Brother, Your letter of the 8th instant to hand and I have noted contents carefully, in reply I beg to say I esteem it a very great privelige in being called to fulfill such a mission and will do the best I can to do honor to the work in which we are engaged in; the Lord being my helper, I will arrange my business matters so as to be able to leave on March 2nd [18]95 as per your letter, I Remain Your Brother in the Gospel Willard Scowcroft We take great pleasure in recommending Bro Scow- croft, we have great confidence in his abilities and heartily endorse his letter of acceptance Robert McQuarrie Bishop Second Ward Ogden very good J F.
