Wilford Woodruff Esq Dear brother yours of Jany 30th informing me that my Name had been suggested and accepted as a missionary to Great Britton, has been Received and Noted, and in Reply would say I am Ready to respond to the call and will be on hand at the time mentioned but if it could be aranged so I could go direct from here and meet the Rest of the brethern at some point in the East that you might Designate I would prefer it, as it would be quite a saving in the matter of Expencses however I shall hold myself subject to your wishes

Letter from Joseph Campbell, 10 February 1895

Cache Co. . Elder Geo Reynolds, Salt Lake City. I received your letter of the 6 inst. asking me toif I could take a mission to the Southern States. It is Just a little over one year since I returned home from a two years mission to Europe. As I am not fairly straightened around yet I think there must be some mistake about it. Yours Brother, Jos. Wilford Woodruff, Dear Bro, Yours of the 8 inst at hand; asking my feelings as regards haveing been selected to a mission to the Sandwich Island's. In reply to the same, I answer yes, I will make it convenient to go at the appointed time, Your Brother in the Gospel Lewis R. Jenkins G. W.
