& Orson Smith & a Letter from a cashier of a
^ A folded letter/box^ Calafornia Bank I received a Letter from Susan

^ A hand pointing to the right^ wrote 1 Letter to Susan and spent the day in the Office

President Wilford Woodruff, President of the Church of Gesus Christ of Latter day Sants, Salt Lake City Utah. Dear Brother: The College Ward of Cache Stake, is very much in need of a Suitable meeting House for its members, at presaent it has none. using the District Shool Hous for Sabath School, and place of worship. The School House is altogether in adequate for the accommodation of the members of the Ward, both as to size and seeting capassity. The people are very desirous to build them a Suitable place of worship for them selfs. The cost of wh- ich we estimate would be abot $3,50000 no doubt you are a ware that the Brethern of College Ward, are laboring under many disadvantages that are not common in other Ward.
