Journal Entry

June 30, 1895 ~ Sunday

30th We spent the day at the hotel.
We had an interview with Mr. Peabody,
the owner of the Steamer which we
will take to Alaska. We paid him
$50 each for the company to take us
to Alaska. I am quite unwell, getting
too fat about the heart.
