12 I met with the Apostles in the Temple The subject of
Moses Thatcher & Roberts was before us to day Roberts
was in oposition to u[s] upon Doctrin Moses seemed to
be failing fast & near his End I had a vary bad night

Kanab, Kane Co., Utah, . President Woodruff, Salt Lake City, Utah. Dear Bro. : Yours of the 7th inst. with a letter from Bro. Edwin Cutler just received. In reply will say, I am very much pleased with the spirit of Bro. Cutler and for this reason we need him very much at home. For out in our small Wards we are short of help and in this particular Ward we have felt we needed Bro. Cut- ler. We had only just got our Ward to working under the new Bish- opric when we found he had been called away. But we feel that the mind and will of the Lord be done through you. Rexburg, Idaho, President W. Woodruff Salt Lake City Dear Brother, Our quarterly conference was held here Sunday and Monday 8 and 9th inst. We had present visiting us Apostle Brigham Young, President Edward Stevenson and Doctor Karl G Maeser all of whom gave us many good instructions and we had altogether a very good conference. Brother Young is this week visiting with us a few of our wards. We are having good audiences and much valuable instruction. Since our last conference by request of a number of our brethren living in Lima Montana, myself and Counselors met with the people there. We had a very enjoyable time and organized them into branch capacity. There are were seventy souls reported in the branch. In connection
