To President Woodruff, Hon. Geo. Q. Cannon, Hon. Joseph Smith. My Dear Sirs: For and in behalf of the Associated Hotel Men, "The Chamber of Commerce," and the public Spirited Citizens of Salt Lake City who assisted us, permit me to tender you their heart-felt thanks for, and assure you of their deep appreciation of^,^ your, courteous treatment in tendering the "Organ recitals" in the great tabernacle. I can assure you that they were pervfectly charmed and electrified with the wonderful music rendered by the skillful Prof. Daynes. I believe that no feature of their trip, which has extended across the entire western continent, has given them a greater degree of pleasure than this paerticular enter- tainment for which we are under many obligations to you.
