Letter from G. S. Holmes, 3 May 1896
To President Woodruff,
Hon. Geo. Q. Cannon,
Hon. Joseph Smith.
My Dear Sirs:
For and in behalf of the
Associated Hotel Men, "The Chamber of Commerce," and the public
Spirited Citizens of Salt Lake City who assisted us, permit me to
tender you their heart-felt thanks for, and assure you of their deep
appreciation of^,^ your, courteous treatment in tendering the "Organ
recitals" in the great tabernacle. I can assure you that they were
pervfectly charmed and electrified with the wonderful music rendered
by the skillful Prof. Daynes. I believe that no feature of their
trip, which has extended across the entire western continent, has
given them a greater degree of pleasure than this paerticular enter-
tainment for which we are under many obligations to you.
Sincerely and devotedly yours,
G. S. Holmes
Comittee Chairman
