Ogden, . To Prest. Wilford Woodruff, & Members of the Central Board of Education. Dear Brethren: As the present school year is drawing to a close and realizing also that it was through your kind assistance that we have been enabled to open the doors of our Academy this year, I deem it my duty to make a brief re- port of the work done that you may know what use we have made of the funds allotted to us. 1. Our institution has been more numer- ously attended this year, considering the grades taught, than during any previous year; the register show- ing an enrollment of 226 students nearly all grown young men and young ladies.
