To the First Presidency,
Brethren:-
Your favor of May the 10th
is at hand, apprising me of
the fact of my having been called
to act as President of the
Samoan Mission & giving me di-
rections concerning a proper perform-
ance of my duties as such.
With Gods aid I hope to be
able to perform the duties
pertaining to this high & holy
calling.
Elder Sears & I have just
returned from a trip around the
adjacent island. We walked
about 200 miles visiting the several
branches of the church established
