May 07, 1897 ~ Friday

May 7th. I slept 1 1/2 hours before midnight and 4 1/2 hours after
till 7 am. ate some corn meal mush & cream for breakfast. dressed
& went to the office at 950 I attended to several matters which came
before us & returned home at 350. walked out some and in my
room reading the papers. Mrs Icevinda Rohner called and
