Letter from Warren Marshall Johnson, 18 May 1897

Kanab Utah President W Woodruff Salt Lake City Dear Brother Your kind letter of recent date has been received. Please accept thanks. Pres' Woolley of the Kanab Stake and the Bishop of this, the Kanab Ward, counsel me to go to Salt- Lake City and consult physicians there in reference to my case, and if means comes into my hands so I can do so, I think of going there in the latter part of June, provided you think it best for me to do so. As I have no relatives in Salt Lake City, will you be kind enough to let me know where I had better go to stay while there. Would it be best for me to go to some hospital, or rent a private room while there, and about what would it cost me per week. Excuse me for again writing to you as I know your time is fully occupied, but I do not know of any one else to write to. I am about the same as when I wrote you in March. Cannot use my lower limbs at all. With kind regards I remain Yours in the Gospel Warren M Johnson
