the Temple, & called upon Br Pullen

8. spent the time in the Printing office

9^th I left Nauvoo at 7 oclock on the Maid
of Iowa in company with about one hundred
Gentleman & Ladies on a pleasure
excursion to Burlington. General Joseph Smith
& Lady his mother & family were of the
Party. we had an excellent address by
P. P. Pratt, we touched at Fort Madison
on our way up and at Shokoquon on our return

to England Scotland & the pacific Isles
