for the Dead. It has been snowing & raining all day
6 I shucked 10 Bushels corn Asahel 5 & come to the city in a rain storm
& got thourly weat through & in the Evening Brigham came
nearly froze to death had Been in a snow storm all day &
came home with 10 bundle of coal rodes vary bad 6 [miles]

7 this morning there was about 8 inches of snow the trees
all breaking down I received 3 letter from I F Carter, Bayliss,
& Wilford, who had got home with his sheep but had lost
Pinto on the road I wrote one letter to Br Bayliss it began
to snow again to wards night
