20 to 25 I spent this week drawing wood
November 26, 1854 ~ Sunday
26th Sunday I attended meeting at the tabernacl
President Preached in the forenoon upon
a variety of subjects & in the aftern[oon]
November 27, 1854 ~ Monday
[FIGURE] 27th I left the to day & started on a mission
to visit the saints in the north. I rode to the
session settlement & spent the night with Bishop
I did not preach to the people as the school
house was occupied with a corurt to settle a
difficulty with a Gentile 10 mls
November 28, 1854 ~ Tuesday
28 I rode to & spent the night with
I preached to the people & had a good
meeting Bishop presides over the people
in that place the people are makeing great improvements
there they have a court House built & many good
buildings going up 6 mils
November 29, 1854 ~ Wednesday
29th I rode to Bishop settlement & preached
to the people they were doing well I spent
the night with Brother 7 mils
November 30, 1854 ~ Thursday
30th I rode to & visited the
school in the after noon & preached in the evening
Bishop presides I spent the night at
Brother 10 mils
December 1, 1854 ~ Friday
Nov ^Dec^ 1st I rode to & spent the
night with Bishop I preached to
the people in the evening 3 mils
December 2, 1854 ~ Saturday
2nd I rode to the first time I ever
visited the place It is a large settlement & th[r]i[v]ing
I spent the night at & preached to
the people in the evening the principle subjects I treated
upon was the subject of tithing the poor fund & the esstab-
lishment of schools, building their wall contrasting
their present position with former days 8 miles
December 3, 1854 ~ Sunday
3rd Sunday I rode to & preached in the
morning dined with Bishop I found this
to be a flourishing place well calculated for a large
city farming land good & abundant their present
population is 100 families much wheat raised but
did not learn the amount the bishop had ownly 30
bushels of tithing wheat & 15 tons of Hay the remainder
