10^th President Young & Company started on a Journey
to visit the saints south

October 9, 1854 ~ Monday to October 14, 1854 ~ Saturday

9 to 14 I spent the time diging potatoes Drawing corn
& choreing &c my teams went to the canyon

October 15, 1854 ~ Sunday

15 Sunday I was not well did not attend meeting
spent part of the day writing

October 16, 1854 ~ Monday to October 21, 1854 ~ Saturday

16^th to 21^st I spent this week drawing pouls
& posts timber from the canyon

October 22, 1854 ~ Sunday

Sunday 22nd I attended meeting at the Tabernacle

October 23, 1854 ~ Monday to October 28, 1854 ~ Saturday

23rd to 28 I spent this week thrashing & cle[ar]ing
wheat I raised 369 bushels of wheat & 400
bushels of potatoes & 200 bushels corn

October 29, 1854 ~ Sunday

29^th I attended meeting in the Tabernacle

October 30, 1854 ~ Monday to October 31, 1854 ~ Tuesday

30 & 31 I spent my time labouring

November 1, 1854 ~ Wednesday to November 3, 1854 ~ Friday

Nov 1^st to 43 I spent my time drawing poles
& ploughing for wheat

November 4, 1854 ~ Saturday

4^th I rode to south Webber Fort & spent
the night with Elder Kington both of my
Horses were vary sick till midnight 35 mils

November 5, 1854 ~ Sunday

5^th Sunday I attended meeting at south
webber fort Broth Luman Shirtliff preached
was followed By Elder Loren Farr & I followed them
we had a good meeting I also held a meeting
in the evening & I preached to the people

November 6, 1854 ~ Monday

6^th I returned to salt Lake City 35 mils

November 7, 1854 ~ Tuesday to November 11, 1854 ~ Saturday

7^th to 11 I spent the week pdloughing & puting
in wheat

November 12, 1854 ~ Sunday

12^th Sunday President Young preached to the
people upon the subject of pruning of the dead
Branches. He spoke well

November 13, 1854 ~ Monday to November 18, 1854 ~ Saturday

13 to 18 I spent the time puting in wheat I
sowed 15 Acres of wheat seeded 5 Acres to Timothy
