2nd Sunday A plesant morning but cold we have had a vary
warm December so much so that Farmers have
ploughed during most of the Month

January 3, 1876 ~Monday

3rd I moved Delight into her New House

January 4, 1876 ~ Tuesday

4. We drew a ton of coal to the field

January 5, 1876 ~ Wednesday

5 we drew a ton of coal Home in the city & got lumber
to build a stable & comm[ence]d building it

January 6, 1876 ~ Thursday

6 finished the stable & spent the night at the farm

January 7, 1876 ~ Friday

7. I finished my carpenter work at the new House

January 8, 1876 ~ Saturday

8 I returned to the city & met with the Agricultural Board
9also I attended a Meeting with the Bishops & Apostles in
the firemans Hall

January 9, 1876 ~ Sunday

9 Sunday I met with themy Quorum & my circle for prayer

January 10, 1876 ~ Monday

10. Monday I wrote 34 letters to Sarah M Dell
D. E. Davis & Thomas E. Jones & one to John Ward Dean
18 Summerset Street containing $3 for the New England Historical &
Geneological Register I met the Legislature in the City Hall at
2 oclok and we organized

11 We Met in Joint session and received the Govornors Messsage

January 12, 1876 ~ Wednesday

12 I spent the Afternoon in the Legislative Council

January 13, 1876 ~ Thursday

13 I foind myself with a severe cold and sore throat today I
spent the Afternoon in the Legislative Council I wrote a letter
to I. F. Carter, & Ezra Carter & Sarah and sent both papers
containing the Govornors Message 3 letters wrote Rec[eive]d 2.

January 14, 1876 ~ Friday

14. I spent the day in the council & night at the farm 6 m[iles]

January 15, 1876 ~ Saturday

15 I returned to the city David went to Mr Moses

January 16, 1876 ~ Sunday

16. Sunday I met with my Quorum in the Evening
