Aaron Powers
Aaron Powers (1782-1862) was born 1 Feb. 1782 in New London Co., Connecticut. He was the son of Nicholas Powers and Phebe Douglas. He married Martha Colby on 9 Feb. 1807 in Butler Co., Ohio. He hosted Wilford Woodruff overnight on 10 May 1844 near Greenfield, Greene Co., Illinois, while Wilford Woodruff was doing missionary work. He died 26 Mar. 1862 and was buried in Greenbush, Warren Co., Illinois.
