Abel John Evans

Abel John Evans (1852-1939) was born 20 Dec. 1852 in Lehi, Utah Co., Utah Territory. He was the son of Abel Evans and Mary Jones. He married Louisa Emeline Zimmerman on 26 Jan. 1874 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory. He was baptized in 1861. He responded to a mission call in 1889 when Wilford Woodruff presided over the Church as President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. He died 8 Dec. 1939 in Lehi.
